Staying Busy

Yesterday, Steve was called away on another deployment following severe tornado outbreaks in southern Indiana. He got the call just as we were headed out for supper and an evening of fun as a family. We were bummed about it, but understand that this is life when your Daddy is a hero.

We have had a great weekend so far, despite him having to respond. I have wonderful friends and they have kept the kids and I busy, and our minds occupied and away from any worries! We went to dinner with my parents last night. Then, today, we went to the Home Depot workshop for kids and made racecars, to a farmers market, to lunch at Culver's, back home for play, and then to see the Lorax movie. It has been fun!
