Amidst the nightly busy-ness, we still try to be a family. Tonight I marveled in our lives at this phase. I'm thankful for this phase, even if it means crazy crazy weeks. These children are worth every minute!
While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.

Game Ball!
Tonight before Nolan's game, I took him up to the diamonds to practice with him. We did a lot of hitting and then worked on fielding at first base. The result was amazing! Nolan hit 4-4 with an RBI and several outs at first base! His team lost 6-3, but scored their first runs of the season. And... NOLAN WAS GIVEN THE GAME BALL!!! He is so proud! And we are so proud of him!

Momma's Helper
Silas has been a HUGE help today. After lunch, he began cleaning on his own accord. When Steve left for the farm, the other three opted to leave and Silas chose to stay and help me knock out my to-do list! We made an awesome team and had the place clean in time to go cash in our coins (107.00 worth!) and buy him a new camera, me some new rugs, and go out for pizza! I'm so proud of my helper, and enjoyed the fact that our work day turned into a "date!"

Priceless Princess
I'm so thankful for a best friend who is so talented! I have been wanting to get rid of my wedding dress. I had seen the idea of taking photos of your daughter wearing your wedding dress for her wedding when she grows up, and knew I needed to do that before I got rid of it. Jennifer did an amazing job and these are a true keepsake to be treasured!!

Bill signing
Today Steve attended a bill signing at the Statehouse. The bill was authored by his dad, and provides state funding for local deployments for agencies such as task force one. What an honor for Steve!

First Baseball Game
Nolan had his first baseball game tonight. It was a rainy one and quite chaotic. We are hoping that this isn't how the entire season goes. Nolan batted second in the game and then not again until last. We were sort of unimpressed, but he was certainly adorable out there. Here's hoping it is a season of much improvement from players and coaches alike!

As expected, life is busy this spring. I'm here to catch up with pictures quickly and get back to folding laundry:
