A busy, fun weekend

We had so much fun with Leigh Anne here visiting! Friday night we had dinner with my parents and my brother's family. While it was a chaotic time, we enjoyed celebrating dad's birthday. We had a couple of unexpected guests (kittens) that kept the excitement for the kids.

Saturday was a fun and exhausting day. The boys both won their football games. The fall festival was a success and we kept Leigh Anne busy nonstop! Lol. I was in the dunk tank at the festival and the kids thought that was fun. It was kind of fun, in my opinion.

Today we enjoyed some time at home and visiting with Leigh Anne. Then we went to the farm this evening. We hauled another load of wood in, and it was a beautiful fall evening.

Back to the grind tomorrow. One more week and the kids are on fall break :0)

Welcome Fall!

This family is enjoying fall and the fun that it brings! This weekend we played football, cleaned house, and hauled wood at the farm. It was a nice weekend, and a nice change in pace from our usual GO GO GO lifestyle.

This week is very busy but we are looking forward to the fun. Tonight Suzanne and Hannah came for supper, tomorrow is football practice for Avery and Silas, Thursday Avery has a music program at school, and Friday my friend Leigh Anne is coming down from Michigan. She will be with us for a crazy busy weekend (shhh... She doesn't know yet just HOW busy we are going to keep her! Lol) Friday night is a birthday dinner for my dad, Saturday Steve has to work Safety Days in Carmel and we have football playoffs, and the fall festival at school. That means setup for us in addition to being at school until the festival is cleaned up! Ahhh!!! Leigh Anne will be glad to go home after her time with us!

Here are some pics from the wood hauling of last weekend:

Football

Yesterday we played football in the morning and then watched football in the evening. The boys got the opportunity to do football drills on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium at halftime of the Greenfield Central game. They were so excited! Avery keeps reminding us that his DNA is on the turf there now. Here are some pictures from our experience:

Quick picture update

As life rolls along the same busy path, I wanted to add some pictures even though I'm not taking the time to say much. Remember that these are in random order because they are from my phone!

First Days of Preschool and Football

Nolan had his first day of preschool for the year on Monday, and Chaille had her first day of preschool ever today. They both had great first days and enjoyed getting to see mommy in the gym for minds in motion!

The boys have their first football games this Saturday and have pictures this week. Silas played a scrimmage yesterday. Life is busy, as usual!!! Enjoy some pics, in random order (blogging from the phone.)
