Nolan's 1st Birthday Party!

I can't believe my baby boy turns ONE on Thursday! I cannot recall a faster year in my life! We celebrated his birthday with family and friends last night. We had a spaghetti dinner because spaghetti is Nolan's favorite food. And then we had cake. And boy did Nolan enjoy his cake! He had his own cake to work with and I mean to tell you that he ate almost all of it! And he wore what he didn't eat. Here are a few pictures of Nolan's First Party:

His Mickey Mouse cake. This was the one everyone else got to eat!

I honestly can't believe he let me put the bib AND the hat on him!

The moment the cake was within his reach, his hand was deep inside it!

He started out just sucking the icing off of his hands.

Looking around just to make sure that he wasn't in trouble. Isn't he so sweet?

His brothers needed a little taste! And he politely shared.

And by the time he was done, the cake was gone and all that was left was a tray of red icing. And a little boy covered from one ear to the other in cake!

After a quick bath, Nolan was ready to open presents. Actually he was more interested in the paper. But he enjoyed playing with his gifts after they were unwrapped and ready to go!

The first gift he sort of opened by himself!

And this was his technique for opening the big box. He climbed aboard!

And to top off his day of celebrating, Nolan decided that he would cut his first molar teeth last night. He and his daddy played for a few hours in the night when he couldn't sleep from the pain! This morning when I checked, his top two molars were breaking through. Have a mentioned how blessed these boys are to have such a wonderful father? He takes such great care of his boys (and their mom too!)
